Richard was one of a kind. Even when I first met him in the mid-90s, it was clear he was destined for great things and he did not disappoint! Unlike a few people posting here, I always got along with Richard and was happy to call him a friend as well as a colleague. Looking back through the years that I’ve known Richard, the depth of his knowledge and breadth of his skills becomes clear. I’ve known him as an audio tech., production manager, draughtsman and software programmer. Although I haven’t worked with Richard for a few years, our paths have crossed from time to time and he was always generous in offering advice & opinions. Our industry has not only lost a pioneering production manager but a genuinely good person. I am really sad to hear of Richard’s passing, he was truly one of a kind.
