I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Richard for the past 10 yrs or so. We worked together in Japan, Mexico, Australia, and most recently the Adele tour. I have fond memories of his dry humor and sarcasm and plenty of memories loading trucks and containers with him in Boston & Japan. I recall a day in Phoenix on Adele, where I was warned he was having a bad day and very stressed, but we had to discuss some important details. I walked into the production office with my box of documents and covering my head ducking down, I said to him as I walked in “is it safe to enter, I come in peace”! And he started laughing and we joked from there. Talking shit laughing in the middle of the night at load-outs, are the good funny memories I will take with me. Always a gentleman and class act.
