My condolences to Richard’s family, colleagues and friends. So shocking and sad to hear of Richard’s passing. I spent many happy, funny hours with him over the last 20 something years - sometimes in work, but more often a long afternoon putting the world to rights over lunch. Working with Richard was a real pleasure - he was so involved and interested in what he did and he was brilliant, but he also brought a real charm, joy and a little bit of devilment to the job. He was always generous, unfailingly decent, and he loved a laugh. Rest In Peace, mate - I miss you.
